SymBio Polska S. A.

Tokya E. Dammond, President and Founder of Symbio Impex Corp. (USA 1994), formed Symbio Polska together with Artur Tyminski and an American/Polish venture capital fund in 1998. The company was formed in order to source organic foods by contracting the production and processing of a wide variety of Polish-grown organic fruits and vegetables from small family-owned farms and landscape parks.

Beginning with 20 farms under contract, Symbio Polska is now in its eigth year of operations with over 300 farms under management and robust sales to European Union and North American industiral and retail customers.

Symbio secures products by recruiting, training and contracting farmers, obtaining organic certification, overseeing all pre-processing and processing to customer specifications.

Symbio achieved $4.5 million in revenues in 2006, and the company is targeting a minimum growth rate of 35% per year over the next several years via increasing the number of hectares under management and broadening its product range to include a full line of retail products.
